Project: Clinic Seed Program

Project: Clinic Seed Program

We have been partnering with communities in Kenya in the last 10 years to do medical camps free of charge to treat people with high blood pressure, diabetes and other chronic and acute illnesses. In addition, IPLEAA has been partnering with representatives in Kenya to follow up and do preventive care. This application is for a program to partner with churches in Kenya to seed healthcare screening clinics by providing blood pressure monitors, thermometers, pulse oximetry machines, blood glucose testing kits and other medical supplies. Each church besides getting free equipment will have a medical doctor or nurse practitioner champion the program in their community. The doctor or nurse practitioner will represent, guide and enhance the program for the good of the respective community. The church community are also responsible for nurturing the seed through contributions to enhancing the medical services to show commitment to the project. The program will include 20 churches in Kenya.
